St. Augustine Nights of Lights

St. Augustine, Florida combines Spanish traditions with nautical fun during its annual holiday celebrations.
St. Augustine Nights of Lights
From mid November through through the end of January, Florida's oldest city, named "Best Tourist Town" in the South by FamilyFun magazine, celebrates the holidays with its Nights of Lights Festival with millions of lights festooning the historic district.
The Festival begins near the city's birthday celebration on November 20th and continues for two months. A variety of tours take visitors through the historic town to view the lights.
During the festivities, you can:
- Carry a candle in the Grande Illumination
- Join the Las Posadas procession celebrating the city’s Spanish heritage
- Visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse amid thousands of luminaries
- Tour local homes with the St. Augustine Garden Club
- Enjoy the free Festival of Trees at the World Golf Village
- Sip wine while you listen to jazz at the roof-top bar at San Sebatian Winery
- Join in the Santa Suits on the Loose 5K Family Walk/Jog/Run
- View the annual Holiday Regatta of Lights from the Bridge of Lions
- Visit more than 20 Historic Inns during their annual Holiday Tour
- Bring in the New Year with a Beach Blast Off complete with fireworks at the St. Augustine Beach Pier
- Dance the night away at a New Year's Eve Ball
