Jekyll Island, Georgia

Beginning with the lighting of the community tree in late November, Jekyll Island fetes visitors as the island’s inns open their doors for the holidays.
Evening tram tours are offered through the Jekyll Island Club and the National Historic Landmark District, lavishly decorated for the season.
The season begins with a Tree Lighting Festival on the Jekyll Island Club grounds, held the weekend following Thanksgiving. A series of Christmas teas and open houses, many of them free, at various inns, plus special events fill the days of December including:
- Bagpipe music
- Meet Santa at the historic Crane Cottage
- Cooking classes and cookie workshops
- Motown concert
- Holiday HIgh Tea
- Jekyll Singers Christmas Concert
- Jingle All the Way 5k and Fun Run
- Santa at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center
- Special Holiday

Island Club
